We are the Wheatones! We are Wheaton College's original all-female a capella group. The Wheatones love to perform and we will happily join you for any event. Some of our past performances include singing the national anthem at the Boston Blazers game at TD Banknorth Garden and at the Brockton Rox's Capanelli Stadium. We have also performed at ICCA New England's quarterfinals. Recently we performed at the Ritz Carlton in Boston with Berklee College's Y Chromotones, but we also enjoy just as at home when having spur of the moment pseudo-performances walking around campus. During the spring of 2015 we recorded some of our songs which can be found here! We just celebrated our 70th anniversary and had a wonderful performance during the Fall of 2015.
Perhaps even more than our love of singing, us Wheatones love to have fun and be silly. We are a group unafraid to commit- whether it be to learning a difficult arrangement or dressing in our best "bro" attire for Wheaton's annual Drag Show. Each semester we host a jam, built around a specific theme. The themes give us an opportunity to let our freak (read: creative) flags fly with our costumes, decorations, and videos. You can see past Theme videos as well as live performances by visiting the 'Media' section of this page!
Keep an eye out for our upcoming events in the Fall of 2016!
